The aviation magazine SkyNews.ch asked for a report again and I really appreciated the opportunity to write.
It is available at any “Kiosk” store in Switzerland during February 2014. The essay is about learning to fly on floats in Seattle and Vancouver. After only 6 hours in a Super Cub at Kenmore Air I moved to Pitt Meadows, east of Vancouver, to add 50 more hours to my logbook in a Cessna 172 seaplane. Many thanks to Tom Drybrough at Island Coastal Aviation: I had a very – very – good time.
The report is three full pages, make sure to get your copy! 😉 If you want to read on now, click the pictures or see category “Single Engine Sea”.
