I had a day off. I flew seven days in a row up to six hours a day. I slept in this morning and Tom had a fishing patrol at ten anyways. He came back and told me he gives me a brake now. He meant it was good I had a hard week. As a pilot you have to work eight or even twelve hours on nice days. I experienced now how I react to fatigue but it doesn’t help to learn. I will learn a lot better after a day off. Now I had time to hang out, to learn some knots for tying down a seaplane, and to study meteorology. I took some books and sat down by the river.
With a handheld radio I listened to the airplanes. I heard two seaplanes coming in to land and they touched down side by side… 🙂 Nice view…
